Out of Office / Vacation / Auto-reply

If you are using the iRedmail server with the SOGo web interface typically used for Field Services personnel, you may wish to set an out-of-office or vacation response during times that you are unavailable.

Instructions

Use the following instructions to access the Roundcube interface of the iRedmail system and set your out-of-office or vacation response.

  1. Open a web browser, preferrably Google Chrome and browse to: https://email.muellerreports.com/roundcube

     

  2. From the main Inbox screen, click on the gear at the bottom right and select “Manage folders”

  3. From the tabs at the top, select Vacation

  4. Enter the appropriate information for your out-of-office response.

  5. Use the Status field to select whether the response will be On or Off.

  6. Use the Vacation start and Vacation end fields to tell the mail sever when the message should automatically be sent. Absence of either of these will fire the response forever until it is disabled in the Status field

  7. Click Save to save your changes

NOTE: Your message should be informative and include the date of your expected return and if possible a way to get support and/or assistance from someone covering for you or to get assistance in an emergency.
