CubiCasa Display Issue Troubleshooting - Reduce Text Size/Screen Zoom

This how-to guide will assist users with reducing the Text & Font Size on their mobile device. A common issue users run into when attempting to begin a CubiCasa scan is that they get to the screen shown below where the “Begin Scan” and “Decline Scan” buttons are cut off. This most likely is due to text size being increased passed the default settings, essentially cutting off the screen. Example of what should be displayed below:

 Instructions For iPhone Device

iPhone

  1. Go into the phone settings and navigate to Display & Brightness

  2. Check that the Display zoom is set to standard

     

  3. Check that the “Text Size” slider is either in the center or to the left of it.

 

If the “Begin Scan” and “Decline Scan“ buttons are still cut off, please follow the additional instructions:

  1. Navigate to the Phone Settings

  2. Accessibility

  3. Check that “Zoom” option is off

  4. Check Display & Text Size Settings and make sure “Larger Text” option is off as well

Instructions For Android Device

Android

  1. Go to the Phone Settings and navigate to Display



  2. Go to “Font Size & Style”

     

  3. Make sure slider is set in the center or to the left of it

     

  4. Go back to previous screen

  5. Check screen zoom settings and make sure the slider is also set in the center or to the left of it
