How to install Google Chrome on your computer

When things are not working in Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge, you might want to try Google Chrome, our preferred internet browser for using the website.

Step-by-step guide

         


  • When the following box pops us, click Accept and Install

                       


  • Chrome should download and a file named ChromeSetup.exe should appear at the bottom of your internet browser.

                                           


  • When you click on it, it will begin downloading and installing

             


  • Once it is finished, a shortcut will appear on your desktop and Google Chrome will open automatically.

                                                     


This shortcut can be used to open Google Chrome if you double click it. 

To Make Google Chrome your default browser.

When you've already installed Google Chrome and you want links and everything to open through this web browser.

Step-by-step guide

  • Open Google Chrome by double clicking on the icon for it.

                                    


  • Click on the three dots in the top right corner.

                            


  • Click on settings from the menu that appears

                   


  • Scroll down to the Default Browser section and click Make Default


  • This will take you to a Settings menu. Click on whatever is under Web Browser.

              


  • The following menu should pop up and you should select Google Chrome from the options.

                                


  • You're Done!


Any link you click on will now open in Google Chrome.
