Clear web browser cache - Google Chrome

If you need to clear the cache of your Google Chrome web browser, simply follow these steps.

Note: You should always ensure that you are using the latest version of the web browser to prevent security issues. If you’re unsure if your browser is up to date, please see this article :

Step-by-step guide

  1. Open your Google Chrome web browser

  2. Click the button with the three dots  (below the X button) 




  3. Click on History and then click on History from the fly out menu (alternatively, type Ctrl+H)





  4. Click Clear Browsing Data...




  5. From the Clear browsing data window, select Time range and select 'All time'





  6. Deselect Browsing history (this will allow you to keep the history of the web pages you have been to previously)


  7. Check  the boxes next to 'Cookies and other site data' and 'Cached images and files'


  8. Click CLEAR DATA button at the bottom right


  9. Close and restart the browser to see if the issue persists.
