365 Desktop Apps - Personal Laptop/PC (Business Standard License)

These instructions are designed for users logging into Desktop based Microsoft 365 apps from a personal machine for the first time.

NOTE:

Close out of any Microsoft apps that you may already have installed on your machine before beginning following the steps to minimize possible installation issues. i.e. outlook, excel, word etc.

OVERVIEW OF STEPS:

  1. Visit office.com and sign in with your Mueller email and password.

  2. You may be prompted to stay signed in. If so, you can click “NO” for now.

  3. Click the “install apps” button and select “Premium Microsoft 365 apps”.

  4. Open the OfficeSetup.exe file and allow the installation to run. (This may take some time so please be patient!)

  5. Once installation is complete, Click the windows icon and search for the “Outlook” app.

  6. If you’re not auto-signed in after opening Outlook, please reference the instructions to get set up now that 365 apps are installed. >>>
