Communicator Preferences

How to adjust some of your Communicator preferences with some suggestions on default settings.

To get to your preferences, click on the vertical ellipses and then select Preferences
In the General section, check the Launch application at startup to all the program to always start when you login
In the Audio section, you can select the device that will be used for your microphone, speaker (the dive you will hear your caller) and the Ringing device (the device you will hear the incoming call ringing on)
- For selection, feel free to use the Test button to insure it is working the way you anticipated
In the Alerts section, uncheck the “Notify me when a contact comes online via Desktop” – unless you want to be notified every time someone contacts to Communicator
Click OK when finished adjusting your preferences
