How to create a rule in the Outlook Web App

This article details how to create a filtering rule in the Outlook Web App


1.) If you already have a folder created for these emails to land in, you can skip this step. If not, then we will create a new subfolder by right clicking on your Inbox and clicking "Create new subfolder". You can name it whatever you'd like, but make sure you'll remember that this is where these emails are going:



2.) Next right click the email you'd like to create a rule for and select "create rule":



3.) Lastly, search for the folder you created in step (1):



You should be all set! You can verify your rule is working by checking to see if the email you desire to filter is landing in your inbox or your newly created folder.
