8x8 - Sending an SMS/MMS Message

In 8x8 Work, you can send and receive SMS/MMS messages from your work extension.

1. Open Work (your extension) from My Applications
   
   

   Open

   

2. From your extension Work portal, click Messages

3. Click the new message button  and select Text Message
   
   

   Open

   

4. From the Text Message dialog, enter the phone number and then select Add
   
   

5. This will bring up the chat/text window. In the field Type a message, enter the text you would like to send and click the Send arrow.

6. You can use the paperclip to add an attachment such as a photo to send an MMS.
