These instructions are for RDP'ing (remote desktop protocol) to your own workstation while connected to the network.

Windows Instructions

1.) Click the windows search bar/windows icon and type in "rdp" (without quotes). The "Remote Desktop Connection" option should appear and be highlighted. Hit the enter key or click the highlighted area to open up the RDP application.

2.) Hit "Show Options"

3.) Change to the "Display" tab. Assuming you're using two monitors, check the "Use all my monitors for the remote session" box.

4.) For "Computer", enter your computer name. For User name, enter "mueller\" followed by your computer username (with no space in between.) Then hit "Connect".

If you don't know your computer name, type "computer name" in your bottom start menu and click where it says "View your PC name". Note that this needs to be done on your work computer, not the computer you're remoting in from.

Should come up with something like this :

5.) Back to connecting. After entering your computer name and username,  enter your computer login password. You can hit "Remember me" but it may not remember you. Hit OK.

You should be all set! If there are any issues after following these steps, please feel free to submit a tech support ticket at helpdesk.muellerreports.com.
