Citrix Machine Stuck or Will Not Connect

If you are unable to attempt to connect to your Citrix machine and it appears to be unavailable or it refuses to connect; it may be stuck. These instructions show you how to self-help yourself by rebooting your machine and acquiring a new, fresh machine.

NOTE: If the Citrix machine is truly stuck, any work that was NOT saved before you last disconnected will be lost.

Always save your work before disconnecting!

To do a restart and receive a new machine, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the Mueller VPN if you are not already
NOTE: You cannot connect to Citrix without being connected to the Mueller VPN

  2. Open your web browser and go to https://remote.mueller-inc.com

  3. Login using your credentials

  4. Change to Desktops

  5. Click the down arrow below the machine name and then click Restart

  6. Wait about 30-60 seconds and then click the Open icon

  7. This will assign you a new machine and start your session with a fresh machine.
